KAM’s newly formed film division is actively seeking to represent writers, directors, and producers (both emerging and established). In our legal department, Douglas Kirkpatrick has represented entertainment and film production and finance clients for the past twenty years. He is currently representing the Producers of the feature film "Napoleon Dynamite" in connection with their development, production and distribution deal involving their next feature film with MTV and Paramount Classics which is presently shooting in Canada. Doug recently completed a $500,000 DVD distribution arrangement for two DVD projects featuring the NBA star, Baron Davis, with songs by Game, and another children’s project with Gwyneth Paltrow as narrator based on a children’s book to be published by Random House/UK. Doug just completed the legal work for a production project with Paramount, involving the exercise regimen "Boneco Capoeira", which will be rolled out soon at Bally Fitness Corporation.
